iPay, in partnership with the Association of Countrywide Innovation Hubs, has rolled out the iPay Affiliates program in various hubs around Kenya in October and November 2019.
The Affiliates Program aims at giving back to the techie community through a cashback program that rewards software and web developers an opportunity to integrate iPay’s payment solutions into their projects. With commerce shifting to the digital space, business owners are looking for online payment solutions to help effectively drive their businesses to the digital space.
The partnership between iPay and the Association of Countrywide Innovation Hubs enabled the iPay team to visit a total of 10 hubs in Kenya’s Coast, Central and Western regions. The training demonstrated to participants the ease in which the Application Programming Interface (APIs) can be accessed and integrated into websites and apps to provide payment processing solutions to clients.
iPay’s payment gateway provides a single point payment reference that gives access to all digital payment options licensed in this market including VISA/MasterCard credit and debit cards, M-PESA, Airtel money and eLipa Wallet, Eazzypay, PesaLink amongst others. This near-instant settlement for merchants provides convenience and transparency that builds trust which targets larger audiences and increases business transactions both in-store and online.
The developers mentioned that they were excited to learn of the existence of the iPay Affiliates Program because they get to earn an extra income for a lifetime as long as their merchants transacted on iPay’s platforms.
Managing Director of iPay, Mr Philip Nyamwaya says, the iPay Affiliate program which was launched in April 2019 is adding value to the Developer community, product offering while enabling them to earn between 5% to 10% of iPay’s own commission for the lifetime of that merchant. Developers can register to become Affiliates and receive a referral code, recruit merchants and start receiving Rewards from the iPay Affiliates Program.
